Terms & Conditions for Admission
By submitting this Admissions Application Form to Great Start Academy, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Accuracy of Information
All information provided on this form must be complete, accurate, and truthful. Any false, misleading, or omitted information may result in the application being delayed, denied, or—if discovered after enrollment—may lead to withdrawal of the student from the school.
2. Documentation Requirements
Parents/guardians must submit all required supporting documents, including birth certificate, immunization records, previous school reports (if applicable), and any additional documents requested by the school. Applications will only be processed once all documents are received.
3. Assessment & Evaluation
Great Start Academy reserves the right to conduct interviews, placement tests, or developmental assessments to determine appropriate grade placement.
4. Admission Is Not Guaranteed
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Admission is dependent on space availability, assessment results (where applicable), and alignment with the school’s academic and behavioural expectations.
5. Fees & Payments
All registration, tuition, and related fees must be paid by the deadlines provided. Failure to comply may result in delayed processing or forfeiture of the child’s space. Fees paid are non-refundable, except in circumstances explicitly stated by the school’s finance policy.
6. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Parents/guardians agree to:
Support the child’s academic progress and behaviour expectations
Attend scheduled meetings, conferences, and school events
Ensure the child follows the school’s uniform, conduct, and attendance policies
Communicate respectfully and professionally with all staff members
7. School Policies & Handbook
Upon acceptance, parents/guardians agree to read, understand, and comply with the policies outlined in the Great Start Academy Parent & Student Handbook. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action or revocation of enrollment.
8. Media & Photography Consent
By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that the school may capture photos or videos during school activities. These may be used for educational, promotional, or communication purposes. If you would like to opt out, you must notify the school in writing.
9. Data Privacy
All personal information submitted will be kept confidential and used solely for administrative and educational purposes in accordance with applicable data protection guidelines. The school will not share your information with unauthorized third parties.
10. Emergency Authorization
In the event of an emergency, parents/guardians authorize the school to seek medical attention for the child if they cannot be reached. Parents accept responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.
11. Updates to Terms
Great Start Academy reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Parents/guardians will be notified of significant changes.
