Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Friends of Great Start Academy,
Welcome to another wonderful school year , where every child’s journey begins with a Great Start!
Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, I am thrilled to welcome you to a school community that is deeply rooted in love, passion, and family values. Since our inception in 2014, Great Start Academy has proudly upheld a tradition of excellence in early childhood and primary education built on a firm belief that every child deserves a strong, supportive foundation.
At Great Start Academy, we do more than teach, we nurture, guide, and inspire. Our philosophy is centered around the holistic development of each child, and we thrive by upholding five core pillars that define who we are and what we stand for:

Mission
The mission of Great Start Academy Kindergarten and Preparatory is to provide opportunities for our students to become active problem solvers; achieve academic success and acquire skills necessary to become independent and responsible citizens. We, in partnership with parents and the community, will encourage each child to achieve excellence in education.
Objectives
· Academic Excellence: Our primary objective is to provide a rigorous and comprehensive academic program that challenges and engages students at all levels. We aim to foster a love of learning and intellectual curiosity while equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary for success in higher education and future careers.
· Character Development: We are committed to nurturing the holistic development of our students, emphasizing the importance of integrity, empathy, resilience, and ethical decision-making. Our objective is to cultivate well-rounded individuals who demonstrate compassion, leadership, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
· Lifelong Learning: Our ultimate objective is to instill in our students a lifelong love of learning and a growth mindset that inspires continuous personal and intellectual growth. We aim to equip students with the essential skills, habits, and attitudes necessary to adapt to an ever-changing world, pursue their passions, and make positive contributions to society throughout their lives.
Our History
The history of Great Start Academy spans a decade of dedication, growth, and academic excellence. Since its inception ten years ago our institution has evolved into a beacon of learning and community.
In 2014, Great Start Academy (formerly Tiny Cubs) opened its doors with a vision to provide quality education and cultivate a nurturing environment for students. With an initial cohort of fifty one ( 51) enthusiastic learners and dedicated educators, the school embarked on a journey of innovation and progress.
During the early years, we focused on laying a strong foundation, both academically and structurally. Through tireless efforts and unwavering commitment, the school quickly gained recognition for its rigorous curriculum, supportive faculty, and vibrant extracurricular programs.
As the years passed, GSA continued to expand its offerings and enhance its facilities to meet the evolving needs of its growing student body. New academic programs were introduced, technology was integrated into classrooms, and partnerships with community organizations were forged to enrich the learning experience.
Throughout our journey, we have celebrated numerous milestones and achievements. From academic accolades to athletic triumphs, our students have consistently demonstrated excellence in various fields.
We reflect with pride on the accomplishments of the past decade. We remain steadfast in our mission to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators. With gratitude to all who have contributed to our success, we look forward to the continued growth and prosperity of Great Start Academy in the years to come.
